Join us for a day filled with epic adventures, awesome brews, and all things geeky! Whether you’re a cosplay master, a gaming guru, or an avid collector, there’s something for everyone at Boom Con.

Here’s what you can look forward to:
 Karaoke in the parking lot (weather permitting) – belt out your favorite tunes

 Super Smash Bros room party – battle it out with friends and foes in epic gaming showdowns!

 Cosplay contest – strut your stuff and show off your most creative costumes for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

 Author/artist signings and talks – meet the creative minds behind your favorite comics, books, and artwork, and gain insight into their craft.

WHAT IS TWIN CITIES CON?

 Twin Cities Con is a celebration of comics, toys, TV, film, art, cosplay, games, and all things nerdy. If you're a fan of Batman, the Avengers, Doctor Who, Star Wars, LEGO, Disney, Star Trek, the Walking Dead, Power Rangers, Game of Thrones, etc., you'll probably fit right in at TCC!!

WHEN  IS TWIN CITIES CON?

 TCC is November 8-10, 2024. The exhibit hall is open from 12pm until 7pm on Friday, 10am until 7pm on Saturday, and 10am until 5pm on Sunday. 

WHERE  IS TWIN CITIES CON?

 TCC takes place at the Minneapolis Convention Center, in Minneapolis, MN, with some after-hours programming at the nearby Hyatt Regency. 

WHO IS BEHIND TWIN CITIES CON?

 TCC is run by fans! TCC was founded by Ben Penrod, also the founder of Awesome Con, Central Florida Comic Con, Annapolis Comic-Con, Southern Maryland Comic-Con, Sugoi Expo, Des Moines Con, MadEx, and co-founder of Alaska ComiCon. Ben has been obsessed with superheroes his entire life and has been running comic cons full time since 2011.

WILL A CELEBRITY GUEST SIGN MY (TOY, POP, DVD, POSTER, ETC)?

 In general, our celebrity guests are happy to sign items that you bring from home. There may be an additional charge for certain items, and there may be specific items that some celebs are not willing to sign at all. Please do not bring any weapons for them to sign that would violate our prop weapon policy. 

HOW CAN I GO TO TWIN CITIES CON?

WHAT ARE VIP TICKETS?

 VIP tickets give you access to all three days of Twin Cities Con, with a special badge shaped like the state of Minnesota. VIPs get a number of perks, including 15 minute early exhibit hall access all three days, a priority line for celebrity guest autographs and photo ops, an exclusive VIP bag, a special VIP t-shirt, and an exclusive VIP art print. NEW FOR 2024: VIPs will be invited to a VIP-only party with live music from a very special guest. More details to come soon!

CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE CONVENTION CENTER?

 Yes, you can buy tickets on-site, but we suggest purchasing early to save time. 

WHAT ABOUT KIDS TICKETS?

 Kids tickets only cost $8 and they’re good for the whole weekend. Every kid 13 or under will need a ticket.

IS THE MCC ACCESSIBLE?

 The MCC is highly accessible for people with disabilities and limited mobility. The facility includes locations for easy curbside drop-off along 2nd Ave., automatic building entrances, automatic 3rd Ave. Parking Ramp doors, and wheelchair-accessible elevators and bathrooms. IS THE CONVENTION CENTER ACCESSIBLE?

 The MCC includes locations for easy curbside drop-off along 2nd Ave., automatic building entrances, and automatic 3rd Ave. Parking Ramp doors, power assist doors, and wheelchair-accessible elevators and bathrooms. We will also have ADA seating available in all of our panel rooms.
